At 7:55 this morning I was outside the Winter Hill post office waiting to collect a package. The best possible way to start a day is with a welcome surprise.
Look what my secret pal sent me all the way from Ireland:
Not pictured: two chocolate bars which have been secreted away in the office for a treat at work sometime and some beautiful stitch markers.
The sock yarn came home from her Norway holiday. I want to visit the fjords.
The hand cream in the silver painter's tube is my favorite. I was regretting not bringing any back from France. How did you know?
Here's a closeup of the Donegal Tweed. It's a deliciously saturated red, with flecks of course. I really appreciate the care taken. It was a lonesome SP8 until Isobel came to save me! Thank you! Your package was so great I spent the day thinking it was Friday! That good!
